The bolt traveled fast hitting the ground spreading dirt around the village. "Humans?" The villagers gathered around to see the comotion but were rathered confuzed to see a human in strange armour. Drae turned and faced the sky. What do you want me to do? Drae turned facing towards the people staring at him strangely. Drae was sent back to learn a lesson.. But what lesson, that's what he had to find out.

Drae felt that this was stupid and he should be back at his throne. "Move please" Drae said in his soft tone voice, the people moved of course but he did have to push a few of them. The village wasn't very exciting but it had to many humans for Drae's likings. "You, Where are the dragons located? Drae could speak both human, but the man he had tried to speak with was rather scared.

Drae moved toward the store, he wasn't sure what currency this place used and he had none of his money on him. Drae waited there, he was waiting for night-time, it ould be more safe for him to fly without suspicions amungst the humans.

NAOKO;; “I’m sorry mother… I can’t be the daughter you want me to be…”

Naoko had her hands on a rounded stomach as she was walking through the village. A messenger back was slung around her body. She saw a group gather up ahead and carefully made her way to the crowd. She was too small to look above the other villagers’ heads, but she spotted something that seemed out of place. The center of attention was a man in weird armor. The crowd began to move, making away for the man in the weird get-up, to allow him to pass. One or two people bumped into her, but only a little that it wouldn’t hurt the growing life inside of her tummy.

She watched him pass and approach a man to get information. The rather taller man seemed to intimidate the smaller one, by either his size or his armor. His armor was fine, in her opinion, so perhaps it was his height that frightened the villager. She didn’t see this strange human’s entrance, which was a bolt from the sky.

Naoko tilted her head in curiosity. This new human made her wonder about everything—where he came from, what was he like, what his family was like, what his name was. The child that was a part of her personality was beginning to come out. She wanted to follow him to the store, but her mind switched back to the mind of a nineteen year old and decided that it would be stalker-like to do so.

Drae waited for someone to enter then walked in looking down at the currency. Before he left they made him swear on his life he would not harm humans, they wanted to trust him so they sealed him. If Drae killed a human he would have to go to the court and then would be trieled for death. His world was a little differen't from this one but had the same principles. Drae walked out, his armour shining reflecting the sunlight off of it.


Drae turned back to the crowd peering across the remnant of people, his eye had caught the pregnant female who had been standing there. No male? This was strange to have a female wandering around without help and this slightly peaked his interest it was weird even for his world. Drae stood there, he probably looked like a mercenary. Drae had to find out what to do, wait. Drae could pick up something a slight ringing noise coming from that women.

Drae fixed his gaze slightly on her but not to draw his attention. What di they want him to do anyway? It was rather low for him to be protecting mortals. Drae still stoo completley still not moving so much as a inch or so through the minute or so he stared across the feild.

NAOKO;; “I’m sorry mother… I can’t be the daughter you want me to be…”

She decided to move away from the scene. Naoko wriggled her way out of the crowd, although people noticed her large stomach and moved out of the way for her. She walked in the direction she came, turning the corner up ahead—out of Drae’s sight. Naoko wanted to see the rest of the village but she didn’t know where everything was located. It didn’t hurt to look and find out, and keep in her mind for later. A thought crossed her mind as she strolled down the street; the thought was actually a name with a face attached to it.

The face she thought of brought her to a frown, slowly rubbing her stomach as she continued to think about it. ‘I’m sorry I ran away. Maybe when the baby’s born I’ll come back,’ She thought. She had pondered about returning to whoever she came from after the birth of the baby. Then she would apologize and take care of the infant by herself, perhaps with the help of older women who had children before. However, she needed the proper prenatal care. She would have to find someone to help her with that.

Her mind switched to the human she saw earlier. She wondered if he was lost and needed directions; she would offer her help, even though she wasn’t familiar herself, but she was already away from the scene.

Drae's head followed her movements untill she was out of sight. The ring in his head grew louder as she disappeared. What do they want? Drae moved trying to go incognito but that was hard wearing armour that stood out lie a sore thumb in a crowd. Drae would just try to ignore her if she noticed he was tailing her. Drae usually would answer after a third qeustion, it was kind of a rule of his when trying to ignoe something.

Drae moved silently aroun the corne, he was usally pretty silent anyway. Drae began moving pretty far behind her but he could now see her. What did they want? Why were they telling him to trail her? Maybe it was a test of some sort. They wanted Drae to learn about compassion and care for others they wouldn't complete his ritual without completing the 20 tasks first.

Drae moved ceven closer to her as the ringing grew faint the closer he got to her. It was a rather annoying ring that would mae do what it wanted. Drae turned, someone was also tailing him it seemed. They looked like pretty tough mercenaries. Drae slightly smiled, he wanted to fight and wanted to earn the respect of these mortals but he wasn't alowd to engage them first which was a disapointment to him they could be just going there own way..

She looked over her shoulder once; her eyes caught the figure following her, who was none other than the man she saw before. But she paid no mind and continued walking. She looked behind her again and this time she stopped and kept her eyes on him, curious about him now. She stopped and watched him turn around to find that someone was following him as well.

Naoko was too short to look over Drae, but she leaned to each side so that she was able to see who was following Drae. She didn’t get a good look, but the man tailing Drae looked like some kind of criminal. She was worried now. This newer stranger could walk around him and possibly attack her! She thought it would be best for her to walk away now before it would happen.

Drae kept walking slowing his speed, one of the criminal like looking thugs walked past him and turned around. This forced Drae to stop, of course it would he wasn't a rude person. "Yes?" Drae asked in his soft voice. The other male was now behind Drae and had pulled a rusted dagger, he was pulling it over near his mouth and grinning to his partner.

They obviously thought that Drae was wealthy wearing armour as fancy as this one was, Drae stood still he couldn't do anything if he wanted he had to let them strike first. The man behind him walked up thrusting the dagger into one of the spots his armour wasnt protecting. Drae showed no signs of pain as he was just stabbed more li annoyed. Drae turned around the male let go of the dagger not being able to remove it from Drae fast enough.

Drae swung back hitting the man in the chest with a punch. A big thud was head followed by a small crack then a smaller thud from his body hitting the ground. Drae then turned to th other criminal who stood there. "Why aren't you attacking me?" The criminal snickered. Drae kept quite from teh criminal. The criminal was obviously angry that Drae didn't react to their threats or being stabbe so he lunged at him hammering Drae in the face. Dra again showed no signs of pain from the hit. Drae grasped the man's arm that had hit his face thowing it into the ground which brought his body down with another thud.

Naoko gave a soft gasp as the men began to attack Drae, covering her mouth. She began to back away from the scene, thinking that she, too, would be stabbed in the same manner. But there were worse things that could happen to a young, expecting mother such as herself. She started to turn and run away, but she wanted to stay and defend him without having to intervene and block the blows although Drae seemed to have the situation under control. She still wanted to help him.

She stood there, watching them as the rouges were taken down in an instant. She finally decided that Drae was anything but human, because no human was strong enough to absorb blows and dominate his opponents quickly. She remained in her place, blinking a couple of times and tilting her head at him. Naoko was truly curious about this man now. She slowly made her way up to him, halting every few steps because she wasn't sure how he would respond.

"S-sir... are you okay?" She asked him in a calm, concerned voice.

Drae surveyed the men sprawling on the ground, they we're injured one with a broken rib and another with just sprain. It served them right though, picking on others and that matter. Drae grasped the dagger going to pull it from his body, but he stopped as he heard a voice. Drae turned his head and as his gaze appeared onto her he was again burdened with the soft ring. "I'm fine, Thank you for your concern" Drae then pulled the dagger from his body once again showing no sign of pain.

Drae moved the dagger up to his face glaring at it and swiveling it to look at it for more details. Drae needed money he wondered if he could sell the dagger for something he could use. Drae knew that he might be spending a decade or two to complete his tasks. Drae turned to her. "How much is this worth? Draewas referring to the dagger he was holding of course. Drae wasn't slightly sue about the currencies or stores in this world.
Drae looked up at the sky slightly before looking back at the woman.

Naoko winced as he pulled the dagger from his body; surely that had to been a little bit painful, yet she didn’t see him react to it. Amazing how this single person did not respond in pain to the blows he received earlier. Naoko continued to stare like a curious child, tilting her head to the side a bit. She didn’t realize that the child inside was beginning to surface. She had a habit of unknowingly exhibiting that side of her personality. But when he spoke, she was no longer a child, but Naoko now.

“O-Oh, um, it’s probably around a hundred or so… I-I’m not sure—I don’t carry any weapons with me...” She spoke nervously. She saw no reason to hold a weapon if its purpose was not for self-defense. Naoko couldn’t stand violence. But perhaps Drae needed it for protection against punks like the ones he took down easily.
