THE BEATLES aren't the same clean-cut boys from Liverpool as they were four years ago. They are now beginning to experiment more with their music, as they have released highly different material from their first few albums on Rubber Soul and Revolver. As their songwriting ability progresses, they begin to create a new era of pop culture around their new image. As of right now, they are working diligently on SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, which was possibly the most influential album of the decade.

THE MONKEES, a popular television series and band have now taken ahold of their newfound fame. The reaction to their music and show have started to mirror that of Beatlemania, only renamed MONKEE MANIA. As they work on their extremely popualr television series, they have been locked away in the recording studio preparing HEADQUARTERS, their third studio album. In this album, they have now moved to playing all of their own instruments, save the few times where they needed another musician because they wanted to show people that they were a real band, who didn't have people play for them
