"No." Falile said with finality in her voice. Sometimes it is hard to carry over the correct expression when talking in a tongue not native to a person, but this dragon didn't have that problem. "Terms changing. Not equal now. Single language for giving protection and mine? No. Our language is no to be taught."
Falile rattled her scales in warning at the last to emphasize the severity of the comment. No one should be taught draconic secrets. No one not kin to dragons would ever be taught the language. It was disconcerting to know that people might know their private conversations. It wasn't going to happen. If they gave up protection for the language... she would eat them. If they gave up the language, then everything would be just fine. Her tail twitched as she pondered which route they would take.

Knowing this was a possible outcome but was hoping the dragon's curiosity was greater than it's pride. Yet that failed though he for saw this nonetheless and accept the original terms. Takai looked over at Azura gently saying My request was not accepted so just human language training in exchange for protection. But my offer to you learning my language is still open if you wish. [/b] He saw no point in not allowing her to learn another language just a s safety precaution to her well being. Turning back towards the dragon switching over to lupine tongue Takai smiled saying I see that being honorable and I understand. So casting aside my request I accept your original proposal and would see it a privilege to teach such an old race the human tongue. So if you want while we wait for my friend's associate I can start your lessons as soon as possible. If you want that is. It's completely up to you my friend.[/b] Hoping this would get him back on the dragon's good side even it was hard. He stood there with his arms crossed awaiting the reply. [/blockquote]

Azura understood completely. She didn’t really mind the change of plans, though learning to speak the lupine tongue was very interesting. Finding her half sister was her top priority at this point. A place such as this swamp wouldn’t be the ideal place she would go to first—it was too icky and murky for her liking. Azura felt that she should address this to the wolf and the dragon. She should probably suggest they should leave and find a brighter and prettier place to check. But she would wait until their conversation was finished. She didn’t want to appear as rude for a quiet person.
