Naoko is short for a 20 year old; she’s about 5’4” or 5’5”. She has a bit of weight on her, only because she’s carrying a baby! Naoko is often seen wearing sweaters with leggings or dresses because of her massive belly. She has short black hair and round bluish purple eyes outlined with black eye-liner and eye shadow. She has several blue streaks in her hair. She is so pale that her skin seems to blend in with pure white paper. Naoko looks like the shy girl in your high school class because she always shies away from the rest of the group. (Explained further in Personality)

::;Personality
She’s very timid; she rarely talks to people and when she does talk, she has a hard time starting off with a greeting. She distances herself away from others because she gets comfortable around others after a traumatizing event in her adolescent childhood. She is easily frightened too. Usually, loud or sudden noises scare her and make her squeak like a mouse. She is careful, even when walking by herself because she doesn’t want to trip or fall and harm her baby. Naoko can act like a child at times; she can be curious about the things around her, she will giggle and sing nursery rhymes to herself, or curl up and sleep with the doll she carries with her. She never really had a childhood, so her child-like behaviors are a result of her going back and trying to “re-do” her childhood.
::;Transformation
Naoko can turn into a fox, but not on her own will. Whenever the days become longer and the nights shorter, her transformation into a fox begins when it turns midnight. She stays in fox form for half of the day before going back to human form at noon. However, she hasn’t been able to unwillingly change into a fox because she is currently pregnant. At the end of nine months, her transformation will last for a few weeks because it has been so long that she has turned into a fox.

Although she was the abused, invisible child in her family, Naoko never went home; she was often found at a neighbor’s or a friend’s house. The night she went home for the first time was the last night—she was 18 when she was officially kicked out. Since then, she had been living with a friend of hers. She didn’t stay long; because on the morning of her 19th birthday, she found out she was going to be a mother soon. (Her friend was a boy, btw) So she packed her bags and left without saying anything because she was afraid that her friend would be upset and force her to move out. Her stomach just got bigger and bigger as the months went by. She had various people teach her how to take care of herself and the baby because she wandered from village to village.
